Daria Titova
(1999)
Daria Titova is a freelance dance artist based in The Netherlands. Originally from Russia, she graduated as a Bachelor of Dance from ArtEZ University of the Arts in 2022. Since then, she continues to establish herself as a versatile performer and young maker, bringing a rich background of experiences and influences to her work.
Her practice blends dance, theatre, and voice, resulting in deeply physical and vulnerable performances that draw inspiration from raw human experiences. Daria has collaborated with choreographers and companies such as Cecilia Moisio, Action Zoo Humaine, BonteHond, DOX, MENSJA, Anne Suurendonk, and Maas Theater en Dans.
In addition to her work as a performer, Daria is at the beginning of her journey as a maker, developing her own projects across dance, theatre, and film. Her first short dance film trough the roots (2024) was selected for Cinedans Festival 2025 and premiered at Eye Filmmuseum in Amsterdam. Alongside this, she continues to explore new ideas and collaborations that reflect her interest in memory, identity, and the body as a storyteller.
Beyond her artistic work, Daria has also contributed to the field in production and communication roles, including as marketing & communications assistant at Cecilia Moisio Company and as personal manager to Emma Evelein, giving her a broad perspective on the dance industry.
For film and commercial projects, Daria is represented by The Movers.
“From the beginning of my relationship with dance I learned how to tell stories through movement and it has become my way of making sense of the world - a medium through which I explore, experience and attempt to understand myself and others, the beauty and complexity of human condition and the way we relate to what is around us. I aspire to grow into a performer, choreographer and capable of carrying the weight of truly meaningful narratives.”
