About
My name is Daria Titova (Saratov, Russia | 1999). I am a freelance dance artist and performer currently based in Amsterdam. After graduating from the Dancer/Maker program at ArtEZ University of Arts in Arnhem in 2022, I continue to establish myself as a versatile artist in the European dance field.
My passion for theatre and dance began early, and the combination of these disciplines has become an important part of my artistic practice. I am deeply interested in physical theatre and use of text and voice in combination with movement. Some of my biggest inspirations come from raw human experiences and I love to use dance to tell stories.
My international journey was shaped by a transformative six-month study with Vertigo Dance Company in Israel, which broadened my perspective and prepared me for professional dance education in the Netherlands. Since 2021, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating closely with Finnish choreographer Cecilia Moisio and participating in projects with Stichting MENSJA, Anne Suurendonk, youth theatre BonteHond, DOX and other companies and independent makers.
In addition to these collaborations, I have started to develop my own voice as a maker and choreographer, creating works like Ik zal huilen and the short dance film through the roots.
For film industry and commercial projects, I am represented by The Movers.
